One of the things that I always do when traveling for business is to make sure to stay at a hotel that can accommodate my business needs. Usually this means that it has a business center as well as a place for me to hold my meetings. Then I make sure that I can rent the equipment that I need and have it delivered to the hotel without any problems.

Computer rental is the most common type of rental that I’m looking for when I travel. That’s because one of the things that I do is lead classes which require each student in the class to operate a computer during the course. I rent enough computers so that there is one for each student in the class. I have to check in advance that the delivery of these computers is okay with my hotel and that the hotel’s meeting rooms can accommodate me in terms of the power needed to operate these computers.

There are other types of equipment rental that business travelers may be interested in as well (such as projector rental if they’re giving a presentation). You usually don’t set that rental up through the hotel but make sure that you connect with the hotel in advance so that the delivery goes smoothly.
