It seems that every year something new in medicine comes out that helps out. We now have organ transplants that were only a thought during WWII. Today, most organs can be replaced to keep people alive. We have machines that can do amazing things to keep us going until our bodies can heal themselves. With that, we also find the everyday items being brought forward to help us.
My mother has been talking to her doctor this past year about carpal tunnel treatment. Her wrists are hurting her, and he was proposing some things that she did not like too much. It seems that the two of them had differing views of pain management. His was to cut and fix, and hers had nothing to do with his. She wanted something different.
After a few months of arguing, he told her about magnetic healing. He found it while trying to decide what to do with her. He showed her some reports that he got hold of, and how they were in line with what she was looking for. He pointed her in the direction of the magnets, and she got started on them. All he asked was that she kept in touch with him so he would know how it was going. I don’t think they are arguing much anymore.
