Recently tasked with a number of online marketing projects, I was quickly overwhelmed during the learning process. There are so many tools and techniques. Do’s and don’ts. Fortunately, I had just moved to Brandon, a suburb of the Tampa/St. Pete area and since I’m single, I have a lot of time to learn all this stuff.

Our company focuses its services towards those in the local area, so I began to learn about developing an email marketing strategy for Tampa and surrounding areas.

This actually was pretty straight forward as there are some very effective processes one can follow for just a bit of time and money invested. It was after the success of this project that my boss decided we were all a-Twitter with social media and I should start looking into those areas.

As it turns out, social networking campaigns in Tampa are actually quite fascinating. With the plethora of 3rd party services that have been built for most of these social media networks, all one is required to do is get in, participate, and simply develop credibility with the community.

Once you are able to do that, success can be had for little more than your time and ingenuity.
